Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
The privacy and security of Color Widgets’ users is something we take very seriously. We believe that customizing your device should not come at the expense of your privacy. This privacy policy outlines how MM Apps, Inc. (“Color Widgets”, “we” or “us”) ensures that your data stays private.
Any data that is “on-device” cannot be accessed by us and will never be uploaded, or shared.
Photos: All photos which you upload to Color Widgets stay on-device. This includes any photos you add to your widgets or icons.
Health Data: All Health Data (steps, calories, etc.) which Color Widgets accesses stays on-device.
Location Data: Color Widgets can optionally access your Location Data (GPS) if you allow it. Location Data is dependant on the type of widget which accesses it…
- Weather Widgets: Your GPS location is sent to the OpenWeather system so that current weather conditions can be fetched most accurately. Location Data for weather widgets is subject to OpenWeather's Privacy Policy.
- Solar Widgets: For solar widgets such as the sunset/sunrise widget, Location Data stays on-device.
For all widgets utilizing Location Data, you can use your approximate location by disabling the “Precise Location” switch in Settings.
Other Widget Data: Other data that is utilized by the widgets which hasn’t been mentioned above stays on-device. Examples of other widget data include your Apple Music library, reminder data, calendar events data, or any other data required for your desired widget to function.
Purchase Data: When making a purchase, we do not have access to your email address, billing address, banking details, or address. All transactions are associated with an anonymous identifier that is not linked to your identity and shared with our purchase provider RevenueCat.
User Support: If you contact MM Apps User Support, any personal data you may share with us is kept for the sole purpose of researching the issue and providing assistance.
Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics from Google Inc. to provide us information that improves Color Widgets. We do not use identifiers linked to your identity when sending analytics, as all data is generalized. The analytics data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
In-App Advertisements: We may show advertisements served from Google within the Color Widgets app (advertisements will never be used in widgets). These advertisement may utilize cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites and online services, including your IP address, device identifiers, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by Color Widgets and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Services and other websites and online services, and better understand your online activity. Your mobile device includes a feature that allows you to opt out of having certain information collected through apps used for behavioural advertising purposes.
